There’s a new workout program in Beachbody town! Megan Davies’s newest program is Muscle Burns Fat & Muscle Burns Fat Advanced aka #mbf and #mbfa. It’s an intense, challenging, and rewarding workout program.
About the Program
This has been my second workout program with Beachbody and I have to admit, I was a little nervous. I had only completed Country Heat and other than that have not worked out (consistently) in years. To go from cardio dance moves to weight lifting- was a big change for me. And a challenge, which I welcomed.
#mbf lasts three weeks and it consists of pretty intense daily workouts six days a week with Sunday being the stretch and recovery day. Muscle Burns Fat workouts are 25-35 minutes. The next phase of the program is #mbfa and it’s similar to #mbf in that it also lasts three weeks. However, the moves and workouts are intensified. Be prepared for leg day on Monday in both programs. Also, Muscle Burns Fat Advanced workouts are 25-40 minutes.
Megan is great at keeping people motivated, I thoroughly enjoyed and looked forward to my workouts each day. Even though they whooped my butt! It was a lot of fun challenging myself, and especially seeing my awesome results.
How to Access #mbf and #mbfa
The program won’t be in the Beachbody library until late December 2020, however, you can purchase a challenge pack and get started right away. I purchased the Annual Beachbody On Demand Performance Pack which came with full access to the Beachbody library on demand for a whole year as well as instant access to #mbf and #mbfa.
My performance pack also included a BOD rope (the only equipment you need for this program besides dumbbells and mat), Beachbody Performance Energize, and Beachbody Performance Recover. I received full access to Beachbody on Demand for a year plus a month’s supply of performance products. What an amazing deal! You can also choose the Shakeology pack or the deluxe pack that comes with a month’s supply of Shakeology and the Performance products. Plus a shaker cup.
The challenge packs also come with access to Beachbody Nutrition programs and recipes. It’s a great way to get started on your fitness journey and help you to stick with it.
The photo below is my progress. The left photo is on day 1 of Muscle Burns Fat and the right photo is the final day of Muscle Burns Fat Advanced. When I started #mbf, I weighed 146lbs. Upon completion of Muscle Burns Fat and Muscle Burns Fat Advanced, I weighed 142lbs. Losing four pounds and gaining muscle has given me more energy and confidence.
If I can commit to a workout program and achieve these results, so can you! Before discovering Beachbody I hated working out and absolutely dreaded it. It’s now something that I look forward to each day and I’m grateful that I have the opportunity to change and improve my life, in less than one hour each day.
