I’m listing shows from the most popular streaming services: Prime Video, Netflix, HBO & Hulu.  There is a variety of categories for each streaming service.

 Sci-fi. Hundreds of years in the future, things are different than what we are used to after humans have colonized the solar system and Mars has become an independent military power.

Drama. Tony Soprano juggles the problems of his fractious family with those of a “Family” of a different sort – the mob.

The Man in the High Castle

Science fiction, thriller. In this dystopian scenario, the Axis powers won the war, leading to the United States being divided into three parts, an area controlled by the Japanese, a Nazi-controlled section, and a buffer zone between the two. Despite the oppression, a new hope emerges when films turn up that seem to show a different world.

Jack Ryan

Action, drama. Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, or simply Jack Ryan, is an American political thriller spy web television series, based on characters from the fictional “Ryanverse” created by Tom Clancy.

The Americans

Drama, suspense. Philip and Elizabeth Jennings are two KGB spies in an arranged marriage who are posing as Americans in suburban Washington, D.C., shortly after Ronald Reagan is elected president.

Action, drama, suspense. One of the most popular shows and for good reason. Full of action and drama and it keeps you guessing. It does have a lot of language and nudity, so it’s definitely not for kids.

Comedy. A superstar during his football playing days, Spencer Strasmore tries to find the same success as a financial manager for current players in sun-splashed Miami.

Dramedy. Some episodes are a bit slow, but overall the show is entertaining and comes together nicely.

Follow Clarke and the others as they are sent from space down to earth, with no idea what they will find as the earth has been unhabitable for years after a nuclear Armageddon. This show will certainly keep you on the edge of your seat.
